How exposed is your business to AI governance obligations?

A short, free assessment that shows where AI sits in your business, what regulators and customers are likely to ask you about it, and how far you are from a basic AI management system.

Around ten minutes. No login. No sales call unless you want one.

  • Built by an ISO 42001 Foundation certified practitioner.
  • UK and EU data residency.
  • Your answers are yours. You decide what we keep.
  • Nothing is sent to an AI model.

What the assessment actually does.

Maps the AI footprint.

Eighteen core questions, a few more if they apply to you. Around ten minutes. You tell us where AI touches your business today: in your product, your delivery, your operations, or not yet anywhere.

Scores three things.

Obligation pressure. Exposure surface. Readiness gap. A single headline band tells you how urgent the work is. Three sub-scores show you where the pressure actually comes from.

Shows what an AIMS would look like for you.

A personalised one-page summary. The three biggest exposure areas, described in plain English. A short explanation of what a basic AI management system would do about each. You decide what to do next.

What you'll have at the end.

A one-page summary on your screen the moment you finish. Your headline band, your three sub-scores, and your three biggest exposure areas explained in plain English.

Optionally, a personalised PDF report emailed to you. Same content as the on-screen summary, formatted as a document you can share internally. You only need to give us your email if you want the PDF.

A short, clear picture of what an AIMS would look like for your business, and what the practical first steps would be. No obligation. No follow-up unless you ask for one.

Two things worth knowing.

This is a screening tool, not a formal ISO 42001 readiness assessment. The result is directional. It tells you whether and how urgently you should be thinking about AI governance. It does not give you a conformity statement against the standard. It also isn't graded on a curve. There is no trick question, no hidden scoring, no attempt to push you into an "urgent" band to create a sales opportunity. The scoring rules are deterministic and documented. If you ask Matt how your score was calculated, he can walk you through it line by line.

What is an AIMS?

AIMS stands for Artificial Intelligence Management System. It is the formal name used by ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the international standard for managing AI responsibly inside a business.

In plain English, an AIMS is the set of policies, roles, records, and routines that let you say, with evidence, how your business decides where AI is used, who is accountable for it, and how you'd know if something went wrong. It is the AI equivalent of an information security management system or a quality management system. It does not require you to stop using AI. It gives you a defensible answer when a regulator, a customer, or an insurer asks how you govern it.

This assessment tells you how far you are from having one, and whether that gap is urgent.
